October 2025 - Stepping Into a New Season with YWAM Ships Corpus Christi

Following God’s Call to Corpus Christi

October has been a full and exciting month as I’ve been getting ready for my move to Corpus Christi, TX to join the staff of YWAM Ships Corpus Christi!

Much of the month was spent sorting through everything I had packed away when I left YWAM Orlando. Deciding what to keep, what to let go of, and what will make the trip to Texas. It’s been quite the mission! I’ve also been connecting with friends and family across Florida, saying goodbye for now, and sharing more about this next step, trusting God to bring in the additional monthly support needed for this new season.

This past week my PODS container arrived, and the big pack-up began! It’s been busy getting everything boxed up and loaded, but last night we finally tied it all down and it’s ready to be shipped to Texas. It should arrive next Friday!

Once I arrive, I’ll begin serving on staff with YWAM Ships Corpus Christi, helping to pioneer both the base and the ship’s training program. I’m excited to see how God will use this new season and will share more details about my role in future updates.

✨ YWAM Orlando’s 30th Anniversary

Last weekend, I had the joy of attending YWAM Orlando’s 30th anniversary celebration. I spent over 21 years serving with YWAM Orlando before God called me to transition to YWAM Ships, and I actually began my journey in YWAM with Orlando’s very first program — meaning this was also my 30th anniversary in YWAM!

Looking back, I’m so grateful for all God has done in and through those years… for the friendships, the growth, and the privilege of being part of His global mission with them. The weekend was a sweet time of reconnecting with dear friends, celebrating God’s faithfulness, and seeing how the ministry continues to flourish. It truly felt like God’s perfect way to close one chapter and open the next.

🙏 Prayer Requests

         1.      Vehicle: Please pray that God leads me to the perfect vehicle for my needs. One that is reliable, affordable, and a smooth buying process.

         2.      Housing: I have a temporary place to stay upon arrival, but please pray that God provides just the right long-term rental at a great price.

         3.      Moving Logistics: Pray for my PODS container to arrive safely and without delay or damage. Also, that I’ll have a place to unload it before the end of my 30 day rental so I don’t have to pay for an extra month’s rental.

         4.      Smooth Transition: Pray for grace, favor, and peace as I get settled in Corpus Christi, both practically and as I join the YWAM Ships team.
