February Recap Video

Before diving into this written update, I’ve included a short video recap where I share some highlights from the past month and what God has been doing through the ministry. If you prefer watching rather than reading, the video will give you a quick overview of many of the things mentioned below.

Thank you for continuing to follow the journey and for standing with us through your prayers and encouragement.

Casting the Vision Event

At the beginning of February we held our Casting the Vision event here in Corpus Christi. It was a very encouraging evening where we shared about the history of the ministry, the work God is doing now, the vision for the future, and how people can partner with us in that vision.

The room was full, and the response from those who attended was deeply encouraging. Many people expressed interest in partnering with us through prayer, service, and financial support. It was a reminder that when God gives a vision, He also moves in the hearts of others to come alongside and help accomplish it.

We are very grateful for how God moved that evening and for the many conversations and connections that came from it.

Sharing God’s Love on Valentine’s Day

Our Valentine’s Day outreach in a local park was a wonderful time of connecting with people in our community and sharing the love of God in practical ways.

We were able to give out grilled hot dogs, Valentine’s gifts, and literature while spending time talking with people and praying with those who desired it.

We praise God that during the outreach:

·       A few people gave their lives to the Lord

·       Several others allowed us to pray for them

·       We had many meaningful conversations

·       We were able to encourage a young girl who feels called to be a missionary

Moments like these are why we do outreach. It is a beautiful thing to create opportunities for people to encounter the love and hope found in Christ.

Preparing for the Introduction to Maritime Missions School

A major focus this month has been preparing for the Introduction to Maritime Missions (IMM) school, which begins in just four weeks.

The heart behind this school is to help raise up more people who are equipped to take the Gospel to some of the most isolated places on earth. There are still many communities around the world that are extremely difficult to reach… places where roads and planes do not go, and where the only practical way to reach people is by boat.

Through maritime missions we are able to access coastal villages, remote islands, and river communities that may otherwise have little opportunity to hear the Gospel. One of the greatest needs in this type of ministry is trained crew members who can serve aboard these vessels and help bring the hope of Christ to these hard-to-reach places.

Much of my time recently has been spent developing curriculum, organizing logistics, and preparing everything needed for the students who will soon arrive. It has been a busy but exciting season as we prepare for what God will do through this new training program.

Looking Ahead: Panama & Costa Rica

As part of the IMM school, we are planning a month-long outreach and training phase in May in Panama and Costa Rica.

During this time students will have the opportunity to serve in remote and isolated communities, putting into practice what they will be learning during the course.

I will be helping lead this portion of the school, which means I will be spending the month of May in those countries working with the students on the ground. Please keep this upcoming season in prayer as we prepare for the logistics, travel, and ministry opportunities ahead.

Partnering in Prayer

Your prayers are deeply valued and truly make a difference. Please join me in pray for:

·       Continued fruit and follow-up from the Casting the Vision event

·       Lasting impact from the Valentine’s outreach and those who responded to the Gospel

·       God to provide for and help the IMM students as they raise support and prepare to arrive

·       Wisdom and strength as we finalize preparations for the school starting in April

·       Financial provision and smooth logistics for the Panama and Costa Rica trip in May

·       March 9–13 is Spring Break in Corpus Christi, and we have outreaches planned for four days around the city. Please pray for God’s presence to draw the right people and lead us in sharing His love.

·       God’s continued guidance in every step of this growing ministry

Thank you so much for standing with me through prayer, encouragement, and support. I am grateful for each of you and look forward to sharing more of what God continues to do in the months ahead.
