Hello friends,

I’ve included a short video update above if you’d prefer to watch rather than read. Below is a written recap of what’s been happening this past month. Thank you for continuing to follow the journey and stand with me in prayer.

Preparing for IMM Launch

March has been a significant month of preparation as we approach the launch of our Introduction to Maritime Missions (IMM) school, which begins next Monday, April 6th.

This 3-month school has been on my heart for quite some time, and over the past five months I’ve been working to develop the curriculum, logistics, and structure needed to make it a reality. It’s exciting to now be at the point where students will soon be arriving.

The heart behind IMM is to help raise up trained crew members who can serve on vessels and help take the Gospel to remote islands and coastal communities, places that are often difficult to access but deeply in need of the hope of Christ.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers as we begin this school and see how God leads its “first voyage”.

Spring Break Outreaches

During Spring Break, we had the opportunity to spend four days doing outreach across Corpus Christi. It was a powerful time of connecting with people, having meaningful conversations, and praying with many in our community.

God moved in tangible ways. We saw people respond to the Gospel, and many others encountered the love of God through simple acts of kindness and intentional conversations.

At the end of the video update, I’ve included a short recap from these outreaches so you can see a glimpse of what those days looked like.

Staff Training & Retreat

Earlier this month, we also gathered as a team for our annual staff training and retreat. This is always a valuable time to step away from the normal pace of ministry to refocus, prepare, and grow together as a team.

It was a refreshing and strengthening time that has helped position us well for the busy season ahead with the upcoming school.

Looking Ahead: Panama & Costa Rica

As part of the IMM school, we will spend the month of May in Panama and Costa Rica.

This will be a hands-on training time where students will step into ministry in remote and indigenous communities, applying what they’ve been learning about cross-cultural ministry, sharing the Gospel and discipleship, working with the isolated, and community development in a real-world setting.

As the school leader, I will also be going to Panama and Costa Rica. I am currently trusting God for $3,000 to cover the travel and ministry expenses of this trip. If you feel led to partner, I would be grateful to have you join in what God is doing in these communities.

Prayer Requests

Thank you so much for your continued prayers. They truly make a difference.

Please join me in praying for:

  • Final preparations for the IMM school

  • Wisdom and guidance as I lead this first school

  • Safe arrival and a strong start for students on April 6th

  • Spiritual growth and unity among the team and students

  • God’s provision for the Panama & Costa Rica outreach

  • Continued fruit from recent outreaches

Thank you again for your encouragement, prayers, and support. I’m expectant for all that God will do in this coming season and look forward to sharing more soon.
