One of the things I love about ships ministry is that we get to travel from country to country sharing the love of God and experience so many different cultures. But not only do we get to experience the local cultures, we get to bring different cultures to them. Did you know that the Logos Hope can house 400 crew? Our crew comes from 66 different countries. What an amazing mixture of cultures! It is a very small glimpse of what heaven will be like. As we minister is different countries one of the things that we do is highlight these cultures. It is a great opportunity for people to get a glimpse at a culture they might otherwise never experience in person. One of the ways that we do that is through cultural performances. Many of the people from the same or similar cultures have put together performances that show off their culture that we can present to the local people in different settings. Watch the below video to see some of Spain’s culture, as well as some of the cultural performances from the ship.
Ministry in Sevilla, Spain
Did you know that Spain is made up of only 3% evangelical Christians? Such a small number. This is a very sad statistic and there is a great need to share Christ here. We answered that need and have spent the month of June ministering in Sevilla, Spain. We had two ministry focuses here. First, to share the love of Christ with the lost. Second, to encourage the church and challenge them to reach out to the lost, both in Spain and around the world. I was able to share in two churches this month. It was a great opportunity. In one of the churches, I gave a call to missions and had 10 people come up for prayer, saying they wanted to become missionaries. Praise God! Such an amazing outcome.

Where to Next?
We leave Sevilla, Spain on the 29th of June and sail to Ceuta, Spain. Do you know where Ceuta is? It is a small city, about 7 square miles, located on the north coast of Africa. It is bordered by Morocco. We will be ministering there for just over a week. From Ceuta, we will sail to Valletta, Malta. It is an island in the central Mediterranean Sea, a little over 50 miles south of Sicily. We will spend close to three weeks doing ministry there. Please be praying for safe sails and open hearts to receive ministry in each of these cities.
