August 2025 - From the Classroom to the Sea 🌊

I hope this update finds you well! August has been such a full and exciting month, and I wanted to share some highlights with you, along with a few things you can be praying for in the weeks ahead.

⚓ School of Navigation & Seamanship

The School of Navigation & Seamanship (SONS) has been going so well! With M/V Glory Bound back in the water, the students have been able to step out of the classroom and put their lessons into practice.

It’s been amazing to see them take the charts, tides, weather patterns, and safety skills they’ve studied and apply them out on the water. Check out the above video to get a glimpse of our hands-on training time aboard Glory Bound. 🚤

The school only has two more weeks to go. This week we’ll continue with more time on the water, and then next week will be our wrap-up and exams. Please keep the students in prayer as they study and prepare for certification.

🌍 What’s Coming Up Next

September is shaping up to be a very exciting month!

• The SONS school will wrap up in the first two weeks of the month.

• After that, I’ll be heading into a country I’ve been praying about going to for years. I’m deeply excited to finally step foot in this land, join in outreach, and see what God has in store there. Please keep following along on social media for more details as I go.

• Later this fall, I’ll also be making the move to YWAM Ships in Corpus Christi, TX. I can’t wait to finally get on the ground there and serve alongside their amazing team. This new season feels like such a God-orchestrated next step.

I’d love your prayers in these areas as I move through this next month:

• SONS School: Safety as we spend more days on the boat, and peace and confidence for students and I as we prepare for the certification exams.

• Upcoming Outreach: That God would lead every step, open doors, and move in powerful ways in the country I’ll be heading to.

• Move to Corpus Christi: That as I start working out the details for this move that every detail would come together smoothly and I’d settle quickly into this next assignment with YWAM Ships.
